With so much time spent in the garden this summer, I enjoy flowers with meaning. Snapdragons make me think of my grandma. I always loved the beautiful rows of snapdragons in her garden.
This weekend I worked in my gardens and will share some pictures soon. I did mulch and moved large rocks around. Lots of critters roaming around that brought a smile to my face.
I thought this would make lovely framed art or a small note card. Click on the link below to save this to your device.
I hope you have a lovely evening.
Much love,
Lisa

Love this Lisa! My grandma always had snapdragons and showed us how to pinch them so it looked like they were opening their mouths. We had lots of snapdragon conversations.

I love snap dragon as they bring me bag when I was a child and I went to visit a great grandaunt I was very close to.She had a huge pot of them in her garden. Their shape , the way you could open them and their velvety touch always fascinated me.Here it a curiosity for you : “bocce di Leone”,that’s how they are called in Italy, that mean “ lion’s mouths”.have a nice day dear💐💗

Oh, I love snapdragons! And I didn’t know they had such a lovely name in English too! We call them ‘Loewenmaulchen’ – Lion’s jaws. 😄
