Inspiration can come in many forms. The Royal Wedding yesterday did not fall short for me in this department. The elegant white dress, Queen Mary’s Diamond Bandeau Tiara held the sweeping train, the guests dressed gorgeously in jewel tones and yellows, topped with unbelievable hats and fascinators. The beautiful setting of St. George’s Chapel, the flowers, and the carriage ride through the streets of Windsor was definitely a highlight. The way they looked at each other could not have been better. The stories shared on the multiple channels that covered every aspect of the Royal Wedding were fantastic, but it was one story that made it over the top for me.
Meghan’s bouquet, spring blooms, designed by Philippa Craddock, who was in charge of all of the wedding florals did not miss the mark. The bouquet included Forget Me Nots, which were Princess Diana’s favorite flower. Bound with a naturally dyed silk ribbon were forget me nots, lily of the valley, sweet peas, jasmine, astilbe, astrantia, and sprigs of myrtle. The greatest part about this was that Prince Harry handpicked several flowers the day before the wedding from their private garden at Kensington Palace. I don’t know of a more beautiful tribute to the two greatest women in his life. This melted my heart. Photo from E.
I have created scrapbook paper, 12 x 12, that can easily be resized to what ever size needed. This is great for scrapbooking, crafts, journaling, greeting cards, etc. It’s my way of remembering the day and using the Forget Me Not.

I hope everyone has a brilliant Sunday!
Much love,

Lisa, you have such an eye for small details. Glad you brought the assessories in bride’s bouquet to life-I would have missed it if not for you. Great creative eye!

This is beautiful as always Lisa and I agree with you. The wedding was beautiful and I got to watch a few clips with Mom at the senior Home. What can I say, Iโm a hopeless romantic and the every detail was special. I didnโt know Prince Harry picking a few flowers the day before. How very special and what a loving gesture. Thank you so much for sharing this. Hugs
